SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dec. 6, 2000

WOWtown.com, Inc. (OTCBB:IWOW – news) through its innovative NET SAVINGS CARD(TM) program, has added Hertz Rent A Car as one of its valued Merchants providing a North America wide discount program to WOWtown Members. Hertz is just one example of the countless savings and discount programs that will be offered up via the NET SAVINGS CARD(TM) on both a global and localized basis.

WOWtown has more than 3,000 affiliates driving traffic to our sites and has increased membership by almost 300%. The network has recently increased to over 3.5-million hits per month, accessed by over 200,000 unique users per month during the primary rollout stage. These numbers reflect a consistent 35% monthly growth rate, and are expected to grow exponentially as we gear up other portals.

“Our program is about providing savings and discounts to our Membership through use of our NET SAVINGS CARD (TM)”, says Company president David Packman. “By expanding our portals and Membership base, WOWtown is effectively becoming a global savings and discount card program, using the power of the Internet strictly as the marketing medium. WOWtown’s Net Savings Card (TM) provides consumers with immediate “point of purchase” savings and/or discounts in their own communities as well as cities where they plan to visit.”

WOWtown has completed its Phase-1 development program and is initiating Phase-2 through an active solicitation for regional marketing partners and national retail marketing partners. The Company has established a 62-city network that is operational in various stages of advancement. Members in these cities will soon begin to enjoy the savings and discounts provided by both national and local retail Merchants.

WOWtown’s proprietary NET SAVINGS CARD(TM) can be co-branded allowing merchants to participate in targeted cross-promotional programs that reflect the evolving needs of the Internet user while providing highly targeted, community-focused, regional Internet Marketing Portals that enable local Merchants and Consumers to connect together more efficiently — and increase the chances of turning consumers into customers. The WOWtown Local-1st advantage will link the consumer with retail merchants and other businesses that provide services in the neighborhoods where these consumers live and shop.
