Westcon Group Advances International Shipping Operations with Kewill Flagship Export Solution; Enterprise-Level Automation to Streamline Parcel Shipments and Export Documentation from Westcon Group Warehouses Worldwide

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Kewill Solutions (LSE:KWL), the leader in enterprise shipping management software and services, today announced that Westcon Group, Inc., a multi-national distributor of networking technology products, selected Kewill Flagship Export, an integrated solution for shipping and export documentation, to automate its international shipping operations and integrate with the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Already a customer of Kewill’s first generation domestic shipping solution, Westcon Group will now upgrade to the enterprise level Flagship Export solution to incorporate non-US origin shipping at company warehouses in Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Singapore and Australia together with U.S. locations.

“After seeing the benefits of Kewill’s shipping automation solutions used in tandem with our ERP system domestically, we wanted to streamline automation, tracking and reporting on a global scale,” said Gus Sanchez, Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) for Westcon Group. “Flagship Export is compliant with multiple international carriers, all of which Westcon Group uses. The ability to enter addresses, generate ratings, produce labels and receive tracking numbers in one global system ultimately benefits our customers by further ensuring accuracy and speed by simplifying the data entry process.”

Though the primary users of Kewill Flagship will be Westcon Group employees tasked with shipping Cisco, Nortel, Avaya and a host of related vendor equipment to resellers, Kewill’s API will also allow Westcon Group sales representatives to access carrier rate information to gather shipping cost estimates for customers.

“Westcon Group is an ideal customer for Kewill’s Flagship Export solution,” said Paul Nichols, CEO of Kewill Systems. “Our Flagship technology best serves companies with complex, high volume, multiple locations, shipping both domestically and internationally. As a multi-national distributor with three distinct divisions, Westcon Group certainly fits our customer profile. We look forward to working with Westcon Group to create a centralized, global shipping operation.”
