Pathways Hospice Foundation has announced a grant of $25,000 from Wells Fargo in honor of Pathways’ 25th anniversary and in recognition of Pathways’ provision of critical healthcare services throughout the Bay Area.

Wells Fargo Vice President Mark Kelsey stated, “We are delighted and proud to partner with Pathways as they work toward achieving our shared goals in the community.” These goals include compassionate, quality healthcare for over 5,000 patients annually, care that promotes comfort, independence and dignity.

Earlier gifts from Wells Fargo and the Wells Fargo Foundation make them two of Pathways most generous and prominent corporate partners. “The strong support of Wells Fargo makes possible the exceptional quality of care that distinguishes Pathways,” said Barbara Burgess, Pathways CEO. “Pathways achieves its mission of caring in a tough health care environment, and community support has truly made the difference in our ability to deliver 25 years of the kind of care our patients need and deserve.”

Mark Kelsey also serves on the Pathways Hospice Foundation Board of Directors. “I volunteer at Pathways because I experienced first-hand the value of its services to patients and families at home. I am honored to lend my expertise and time to achieve the Pathways mission.”

Pathways (formerly known as MidPeninsula) is a community-based, non-profit organization with one mission: to deliver compassionate, quality health care in your place of residence that promotes comfort, independence and dignity. Pathways has offices in San Francisco, Mountain View and Oakland, and serves five Bay Area Counties.
