Trilogy Software, Inc., Wins First Round of Trademark Battle Against Large Austin, Texas Software Company

Trilogy Software, Inc., won a preliminary injunction against the Trilogy Development Group of Austin, Texas. The suit had been filed for trademark infringement by Trilogy Software, Kirkland, Washington, against the Trilogy Development Group of Austin, Texas.
Judge Pechman of the United States District Court Western District of Washington ordered the Texas Company to stop using the name Trilogy Software pending trial. The Trilogy Development Group of Austin, Texas, did not appeal this order.
