2. Product Selection 8.53

3. Ease of Finding Products 8.57

6. On-time Delivery 8.73

7. Customer Support 8.35

“Smart retailers have long figured-out that good service equals sales. If it were not for the exceptional quality of service these retailers have provided consumers, online spending would not have flourished to the extent it has over the last 10 years of ecommerce,” said Chuck Davis, Chairman of Shopzilla. “The BizRate Research Circle of Excellence Awards serve to acknowledge those industry-leading retailers who make their customers a priority and raise the industry bar at the same time.”

About BizRate Research’s Circle of Excellence Methodology

To qualify for the award, retailers have to participate in the BizRate Research Customer Certified Merchant Program. This program allows online buyers to complete surveys at the point-of-sale and after delivery of goods – in order to accurately measure the online shopping experience and to monitor the store’s post-transaction fulfillment performance. To win merchants’ survey volume must be in the top five percent of survey volume, from September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2005, and achieved a performance rating above the Industry average on all seven aforementioned service metrics. BizRate Research’s point-of-sale and fulfillment monitoring system is free of charge to merchants.
