XML Visibility Software Leader Taps Technology-Industry Veteran to
Guide Company through Rapid Growth
Service Integrity, Inc., the leader in XML visibility software for the Fortune 1000, today announced the appointment of Michael Madden as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. In this capacity, he partners with the company’s co-founder, Dr. Jothy Rosenberg, who will continue as the company’s chief technology officer and a member of the board of directors.
“This expansion of the leadership team is a natural and planned result of our early success,” said Rosenberg. “Mike knows what it takes to build an industry leader and has a proven track record of operational excellence. Mike’s experience is precisely what we need at this stage of Service Integrity’s rapid growth. I look forward to devoting my efforts full time to working with our growing customer base and continuing to map out the technology vision for the company.”
Madden will drive day-to-day operations while looking to further establish Service Integrity’s position in the marketplace. As chief technology officer Rosenberg will use his extensive technology background to lead Service Integrity in delivering innovative XML-based solutions. Madden and Rosenberg will both be focused on continuing and establishing relationships with customers, partners and prospects to ensure the SIFT product provides the deep visibility necessary to solve customer’s critical business problems.
“Jothy and his team have built a company that’s quickly become the industry leader in enabling real-time, enterprise decision making. Today, the SIFT solution allows our marquee customers to see, understand and act at the speed of business,” said Madden. “Service Integrity’s highly differentiated technology, impressive early customer wins and strong human capital position the company for tremendous success. I look forward to working with Jothy and the team – as well as with our customers and partners – to grow and lead the company as it achieves its goals in 2004 and beyond.”
Madden’s experience spans more than 18 years. Madden was most recently executive vice president of products and technology for deNovis, Inc., where he oversaw the leadership of deNovis’ software engineering organization as well as overall company strategy around platform technologies and technology partners. Prior to joining deNovis, he was senior vice president for software engineering and chief technology officer managing an organization of over 1,000 professionals at collaborative enterprise software maker J.D. Edwards, playing a key role in its purchase in 2003 by PeopleSoft, the world’s second largest provider of enterprise application software with 11,900 customers in more than 25 industries and 150 countries. Mr. Madden remained with PeopleSoft through the establishment of the combined product roadmaps for the company. Prior to joining J.D. Edwards in 1998, Mr. Madden had a 12-year career at Digital Equipment Corporation, including a leadership position for DEC’s mobile computing offerings.
An active member of the IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Engineering Management Society, Mr. Madden holds a Bachelors degree in applied mathematics and a Masters degree in electrical engineering, both from the University of New Hampshire.
