Repeater Technologies Names Fuchs Eastern Region Sales Director; Company Expands Sales Force

SUNNYVALE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aug. 31, 1998–Repeater Technologies announced today that Patricia Fuchs has been named sales director for the Eastern Region.

This appointment continues the ongoing corporate expansion to further strengthen Repeater Technologies’ executive team.

In her new post, Fuchs will be directly responsible for sales to companies in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and the Caribbean. In addition, she will assist Jerry Bares in increasing Repeater Technologies’ influence in the Southeastern Region. Fuchs has over 30 years of experience with Lucent Technologies and AT&T Network Systems. In her most recent position as marketing and sales consulting manager for AT&T Wireless Services, Fuchs directed numerous ongoing projects and activities resulting in outstanding revenue growth, profitability and customer satisfaction for global markets.

While at Lucent Technologies, Fuchs gained a breadth of experience in various executive positions within the AT&T Wireless Services customer team. In her most recent position of marketing and sales consulting manager, her responsibilities included directing internal and external communications, as well as developing the AWS customer team mentoring program, Day of Caring events, EEO compliance and web site development. While Fuchs was Southeastern regional account manager, the AT&T Wireless Services customer team sold $6 million in DACS equipment, fiber and DDM products for use in competitor’s systems.

Fuchs has received numerous awards in the sales and marketing fields including the 1995 NSWBU Compensation Overlay Award, the 1995 NSWBU Market Manager Award and the 1994 NSWBU Excellence Award for Achieving in excess of $100 million. She attended Wright State University and Jacksonville University and received academic honors at Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Repeater Technologies now has sales offices in New York, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco, Montreal and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The company plans to add a sales office in Beijing as well.
