Proven Leader Bruce Rusch Joins Oracom as President and CEO; Seasoned Executive to Drive Oracom’s Efforts in Easy-to-Use Network Management Solutions for Wireless and Wired Networks
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sept. 26, 2001
Oracom, a developer of web-based solutions for managing networked devices, has appointed Bruce Rusch as president and CEO to expand and grow the company’s strong position in the wireless and satellite communication networking market and to launch its penetration into the carrier and enterprise sector. Rusch has held president and CEO positions at numerous public software and hardware firms, establishing a successful track record in their strategic development, growth and profitability. Most recently, Rusch was president and CEO of Frontline Technology, a business development firm providing strategic direction and management to technology companies.
Rusch’s appointment will spur Oracom’s growth in the wireless and wired network and service level management market. Initially, Rusch will cement the strategies required to position the company for this growth and the associated operational milestones required to aggressively move its recently announced Oracom Xpress into new markets.
Prior to founding Frontline Technology, Rusch served as president and CEO of Astea International – an industry-leading supplier for service-oriented customer relationship management software – as well as at Sky Computers, growing revenue and profit before its sale to Analogic Corporation. He eventually became president and COO of Analogic, a $295 million provider of signal processing hardware, software and system products used in the telecommunications, industrial and medical industries. Rusch was also president and COO of Adept Technology, where he took the start-up from initial stages to profitability and a consistent revenue stream. Before these positions, Rusch served in various sales, marketing, engineering and operational roles.
“We’re delighted that Bruce has joined Oracom at a time when the company is positioned for growth. His demonstrated track record of getting companies to their next level is precisely the kind of leadership skills we need now within the company,” commented Bob Creeden, a General Partner at Egan-Managed Capital and a member of Oracom’s board of directors. Rusch’s hire is coincident with a new round of investment that the company received which will be used to fund product development and support.
Oracom, Inc. was founded in 1997 and provides service-ready, easy-to-use network management solutions.
