The Yankees lead the best-of-seven series, 3-2. In Game 5 on Sunday night in Seattle, the Mariners staved off elimination by defeating New York 6-2. New York’s Orlando Hernandez will face John Halama of Seattle in Tuesday’s Game Six.
Additionally, from 8:00-9:00 p.m. (ET)/7:00-8:00 p.m. (Central) most of the NBC stations in the selected markets will air the episode of “Mysterious Ways” that is being pre-empted by baseball on PAX.
