London’s Abbey Court Hotel and Rome’s Albergo Internazionale and Franklin Hotel

Three International Properties Join Luxe Worldwide Hotels: London’s Abbey Court Hotel and Rome’s Albergo Internazionale and Franklin Hotel

LOS ANGELES — Luxe Worldwide Hotels adds three extraordinary boutique properties to its global portfolio of 200 member hotels. “We are pleased to welcome London’s Abbey Court Hotel, the Albergo Internazionale in Rome, and the Franklin Hotel Rome,” Efrem Harkham, CEO and President of Luxe Worldwide Hotels, announced today.

The Abbey Court Hotel, located at 20 Pembridge Gardens, Kensington, is housed in an elegant five-story townhouse built at the height of the grand Victorian era. Each room is individually designed to incorporate antiques and pictures alongside 24-hour broadband access, brass and four poster beds, Italian marble bathrooms, and Jacuzzi jet baths. Standard in-room amenities include satellite television, personal digital safes and fluffy bathrobes. “The Abbey Court understands the true meaning of comfort and privacy, ” noted John Galliano, Chief Designer for Christian Dior.

A hotel since 1870, the 40-room Albergo Internazionale’s historic details date back to the 1st century B.C. Remnants from the ancient “Horti Luculini,” one of the world’s first formal gardens, are clearly visible; parts of the building date to the 16th century. Amidst the history, guests will find such conveniences as air conditioning, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV and Internet access. Rates include a buffet breakfast. The hotel is at Via Sistina 79, at the top of the Spanish Steps — a romantic central location in the heart of Rome.

At Rome’s Franklin Hotel, the motto is “Feel the Sound.” Rooms come equipped with CD players, and satellite TV music channels. Managed by hoteliers with a passion for music, guests are encouraged to play music and musical instruments in their rooms. This hotel is a preferred retreat of many famous artists in the music world. A private garden and complimentary buffet breakfast add to the hotel’s unique ambience. Rooms are all non-smoking. The Franklin is at Via Rodi, 29, convenient to the Vatican Museum and Metro.
