David Chemidlin Named Corporate Controller of the Advance Magazine Group

NEW YORK — David Chemidlin has been named Corporate Controller of the Advance Magazine Group (AMG), in addition to his position as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Shared Services Center in Wilmington, Delaware, it was announced today by John Bellando, Chief Financial Officer of AMG. His appointment is effective immediately.

Mr. Chemidlin’s responsibilities include all accounting services, reporting, tax, cash management, and internal control functions for AMG.

“David’s leadership in establishing centralized systems, policies, and procedures–especially upon the formation of the Delaware Shared Services Center–has provided a solid foundation for the company’s continued growth,” Bellando said.

Mr. Chemidlin joined Conde Nast in 1995 as Treasurer. In July, 2000, he was named Vice President and Treasurer. From 1991 to 1995, he worked at Sony Music Entertainment, where he served for two years as Vice President, Finance, of the Special Products Group. Before that, Mr. Chemidlin was Vice President and Controller of U.S. Operations of Sony Music Group. Earlier in his career, he worked for CBS/Fox Video, where he was VP/Controller of the North American Group. He is a licensed CPA.

The Advance Magazine Group includes Conde Nast Publications, Conde Nast Media Group, Fairchild Publications, Parade Publications, The Golf Digest Companies, CondeNet, and the Shared Services Center.
