Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association to Host Networking and Informational Events in London, Paris, Oct. 9 & 11

AMHERST, Mass. — The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association[R] (CAIAA), an independent, not-for-profit international organization that provides a charter program for professionals in alternative investments, will host informational seminars in Paris and London on October 9 and 11.

The event in Paris will run from 12:00-1:30 p.m. on October 9 at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe, 51-57 Rue de Courcelles, 75008, Paris, France. It will be followed by an event in London on October 11 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at The Savoy, the Strand.

CAIAA’s executive director, Craig Asche, will make a short presentation at both events. He will discuss the CAIA designation, why it has become the fastest-growing global designation for alternative investment professionals, details on the curriculum, its importance to the field of alternative investments and the organization’s growth in Europe and other international markets. He will also take questions from attendees. Attendees may use the opportunity to network with similar professionals from their areas.

“There has been a marked increase in the number of candidates interested in the CAIA program from London, Paris and throughout Europe over the last year,” Asche said. “As financial products become more and more complex, and alternatives more prevalent, the need for investment professionals to secure and maintain a state-of-the art education grows. That’s why it’s so essential for us to continue incorporating new industry research and product development into our program as quickly as possible.”

The Paris and London informational events are part of 15 total events that have or will occur in 2007. The Association hosted similar events in San Francisco, Chicago, Geneva, Frankfurt, Sydney, Toronto and Montreal earlier this year, and will host four more in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York before the end of the year.

Attendees to the Paris and London events include individuals planning to take the exams, executives seeking to learn more about the CAIA designation on behalf of their companies, financial advisors and planners and other members of the public interested in learning more about AI education.
