Alan Andreini Joins eB2B Commerce as Executive Chairman; Former InterWorld Vice Chairman to Drive Company Expansion

eB2B Commerce, Inc. (eB2B.com) (OTC BB: EBTB), a leading developer, owner and operator of Internet-based business-to-business e-commerce solutions in multiple vertical industries, today announced the appointment of Alan Andreini as Executive Chairman.
As Executive Chairman, Mr. Andreini will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors and as an officer of the Company. He will also be a full-time executive on the Company’s management team, working directly with Peter Fiorillo, President and Chief Executive Officer of eB2B Commerce, to guide the organization as it fulfills its current vertical industry initiatives and engages new markets.
Mr. Andreini comes to eB2B Commerce with more than 23 years of executive management experience in e-commerce and information technologies. Most recently, he was Vice Chairman of InterWorld Corporation (NASDAQ: INTW), a leading provider of e-commerce software solutions for manufacturers, distributors and retailers, where he was responsible for managing customer programs and pre- and post-sale initiatives worldwide. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of InterWorld for two years and guided the company through its IPO last May, 1999. Previously, he was an Executive Vice President, member of the Office of the President, and Director of Comdisco, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of solutions that help organizations reduce technology cost and risk, with total annual revenues in excess of $4 billion. Before Comdisco, Mr. Andreini served as Vice President of Salomon Brothers from 1973 to 1978 in New York and London.
