Starwood Celebrity Auction to Benefit Stargift Program
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-Starwood Hotels is touting its loyalty program with its first Starwood Preferred Guest Celebrity Suitcase Auction. Autographed guitar cases, duffel bags and makeup cases from Madonna, Oprah, John Glenn, Ken Griffey Jr. and others will be presented June 16 by Guernsey’s, The Auction House at New York’s W Hotel. Proceeds will go to StarGift, a charitable giving program Starwood formed to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Unicef and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
