Michael Sands Returns to Snapple Executive Roster – Brief Article

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–Michael Sands, as expected, returns to Snapple Beverage Group on March 19 in the capacity of chief marketing officer. Sands was the top candidate to replace departing svp-marketing Ken Gilbert (Brandweek, Jan. 15), whose last day is April 30. Sands had served as Snapple vp-marketing under CEO Mike Weinstein during the brand’s comeback at Triarc. He left his post to accept the CMO position at Ben & Jerry’s, only to depart when that company was acquired by Unilever.
