Coke Puts Pizzazz into Revitalized Web Site – Company Business and Marketing
ATLANTA–The new improved Coke.com is online. A significant upgrade from Coca-Cola’s previous Internet effort, the new site allows for more interactivity. For example, consumers can share slice of life stories about Coca-Cola memories in the “Spill it” section. Other users are asked to rate these tales. Also, Coke’s new TV ads are available on the site, and themed music and screensavers are downloadable. Tying to its Olympic sponsorship, Coke is allowing consumers to nominate a torchbearer online for the Salt Lake City 2002 relay.
