Minority business resources offers access to lucrative contracts

The TRY US National Minority and Women-Owned Business Directories are now available from its publisher, Diversity Information Resources Inc., at www.diversityinforesources.com.

The directories are available in print for $72 or on CD-ROM for $125. Both versions can be purchased online or by calling 612-781-6819. DIR is a nonprofit corporation that publishes minority and women-owned business resources. They also sponsor nationwide supplier diversity seminars to help corporations and government entities to establish or enhance their supplier diversity programs.

The TRY US directory includes over 7,500 certified minority-owned businesses, including a list of 2,800 African American firms and comprehensive information on minority and women-owned suppliers accompanied by the following information: contact name and title, addresses, phone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses, narrative description of products and services, year established, number of employees, gross sales, certifications held, ownership type and three major customers.
