Japan oxygen bar to breathe fresh air into polluted H.K

HONG KONG, March 3 Kyodo

A Japanese oxygen bar chain has opened its first outlet in Hong Kong, the government agency Invest Hong Kong said Thursday.

Wing Oxy Bar, which has over 200 stores across Japan, has opened its first oxygen outlet in Hong Kong’s Central district.

The store offers a variety of health-related services and products including aromatherapy oxygen bar, oxygen capsule and drinks.

A 10-minute aromatherapy oxygen treatment costs HK$45 (around

$5.77).

”We realize that consumers in Hong Kong, like most Japanese, are also very health conscious and receptive to new concepts,” said Wing Oxy Bar representative Seigo Sano.

The chain plans to open a total of six stores in Hong Kong in three years.
