Raybestos announces promotional/advertising campaign

Raybestos Brakes announces a rotor incentive promotion on its PG Plus Premium Rotors. The promotion will run through June 30, 2000. When customers purchase PG Plus premium Rotors, they should save the box top, containing the product part number, to earn apparel items from the Raybestos merchandise collection brochure. Each PG Plus Rotor end tab is worth $1. In addition to earning apparel items, every PG Plus Rotor box top is worth double points for participants in the Gimme a Brake debit card program.

Designed as a three-tiered program, customers can choose from various selected items, depending on the value of their saved box tops. Tier one consists of a striped visor cap and an ultra suede cap. Tier two contains three shirts, which include a denim shirt, a lady’s denim shirt and a navy camp shirt. Tier three includes a selection of two jackets, a Colorblock racing jacket and an Identity denim jacket.

In addition to this rotor incentive program, Raybestos Brakes is also “braking into the new millennium” with a series of television and radio commercials featuring its PG Plus, Super Stop and Quiet Stop brake pads. The television schedule includes three 30 second spot commercials, titled “Demonstrations,” “Moms,” and “Generations,” that will appear on several stations, including CBS, ABC, ESPN, CNN, the Discovery Channel and TNN Motorsports. The radio commercials will be heard on the MRN RADIO and PRN networks.
