Federal-Mogul Selected To Supply Replacement Brake Drums And Rotors For Ford – Brief Article
Federal-Mogul Corp. said it has been selected by Ford Motor Co. to supply brake rotors and drums for use by Ford dealer service departments as replacement parts on Ford passenger cars and light-duty trucks. The rotors and drums will complement the Ford Motorcraft Preferred Value line of brake friction materials, which Federal-Mogul has supplied as original equipment service (OES) parts for Ford vehicles since October 1999, the company said.
Federal-Mogul said it will produce the rotors and drums at its manufacturing facility in St. Louis, Missouri, and will distribute them through its Tullahoma, Tenn., distribution center.
Federal-Mogul will supply the components to some 230 Ford authorized distributors, who sell replacement parts to more than 5,000 Ford dealers in the United States and Canada.
