An $80-million merger between Big Chief’s Mr. Olympus Theme Park, Family Land Waterpark, and Treasure Island Waterpark Resort means overnight guests will have free access to all amenities of the new, Greek mythology-themed fun land. Stretching a length of more than 15 football fields along Wisconsin Dells Parkway, Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park will open in May. It will encompass the world’s largest go-kart complex, indoor and outdoor water parks, and six roller coasters, not to mention mini-golf, bumper boats, batting cages, and arcades. A new wooden roller coaster, called Hades, will climb to 136 feet, then drop into the world’s longest underground tunnel for a coaster.
The 331-room Treasure Island Waterpark Resort is connected to Bay of Dreams indoor water park. In addition, there are 56 rooms at the park’s Pleasant View Motel, a budget property owned and operated by Treasure Island. For non-overnight guests, an all-day pass to all Mt. Olympus attractions will be $32 per person.
