It also invites web visitors to comment on the value of national parks in their lives. Featured parks include Federal Hall National Monument, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Gateway in New York City; parks in the Washington, D.C., area and western Pennsylvania; Baltimore’s Fort McHenry; Independence in Philadelphia; Virginia’s Shenandoah; Washington State’s Mount Rainier; and Yosemite and Golden Gate in California.
