Mickey Mouse, rock the house
Ruby Miller
Dear Interview,
I’ve been a fan of Keri Russell’s since her Felicity days, but reading the cover interview with her, I was surprised to discover a fun fact I didn’t know: She is one more graduate of The Mickey Mouse Club who went on to big-time success in show biz. Either that program had one helluva savvy casting director, or they slipped something into the Hi-C they gave the kiddies on set, but it’s pretty amazing that so many of today’s headliners (Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, and Christina Aguilera) came out of that one cheesy kids show. Juilliard and the Yale Drama School might want to get some pointers.

Dear Interview,
Your June 2007 cover story with Keri Russell was absolutely stunning. I’ve always been a big fan of hers, and it was great to finally see her featured in your magazine. She’s a great actress who never got the credit and the respect she deserves (and, in my opinion, has always deserved). Please feature her more often in your magazine.

Dear Interview,
“Mickey, Mickey Mouse, rock the house”: That line has been going through my mind since I read your recent Keri Russell article [June 2007]. I have loved her (and her hair) since her days on The Mickey Mouse Club. I am so happy to see that her career and personal life is going so well. I look forward to seeing what happens next. I wish her and Shane all the love and happiness in the world. (I also hope that she has the “sexy” child she has always wanted.)
