Tang Dynasty to host Bill Mack in Beijing – gallery News – Brief Article

BEIJING, China–The Tang Dynasty Art Group of Las Vegas and Beijing will be the exclusive agent for sculptor Bill Mack in China at its new gallery in Tiananmen Square as part of a gala exhibition sponsored by The Chinese National Museum in Beijing. The museum has already dedicated a 13,000-square-foot space within the museum grounds located in Tiananmen Square for the gallery. TDAG officials said the new gallery will feature American and European artists.

While at Artexpo New York in February, Mack and TDAG artist Ke Liang, one of China’s most famous living artists, created an original watercolor together titled “Spirit.” The work depicts two running horses which represent the everlasting friendship between the United States and China. Mack will be creating a new sculpture based on this painting, also with the cooperation of Liang. Both artists will be shown in the Beijing show this month.

Tang Dynasty Art Group has also opened a new Gallery in Las Vegas at 6100 Mountain Vista featuring the work of Liang, Luo Hao, Cui Ruzhuo and Tang Zhi Zhong.
