SeaWorld contracts artist Jody Bergsma – news – Brief Article
BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Artist Jody Bergsma has contracted with SeaWorld Corporation for a licensing program encompassing three lines of artwork designed specifically for the company.
SeaWorld first came in contact with Bergsma after purchasing her nature-themed artwork and invited her to do signings at the marine park in Orlando, Fla. She was then commissioned to create a special image for the opening of the Dolphin Cove portion of the theme park.
Together, SeaWorld and Bergsma have now created new gift lines from her art themes. The three SeaWorld themes include “Funny Fish” “Fantasea” and “Sea Fairies.” The sea-themed artwork will appear as plush animals, sculptures, garden decor, banners, jewelry boxes, snow globes, stationary, puppets, toys, beach towels, framed art and children’s dishes. The products will be featured in a building at the new Lagoon Village by the Orca Pools.
