Online framing – be our guest – Letter to the Editor
In the April issue of Framing Business News, Rita Kasperek gave a look into the online framing craze [“Online Framers Reach for Convenience”], I was surprised our online framing company wasn’t mentioned.
We have shipped all over the United States and some internationally and are receiving approximately 700 hits a day. That’s a small number compared to the larger online businesses, but since we’ve only been in business for two years, we really think that’s pretty good. We mostly deal in limited-edition prints and canvases, with some open editions, We also offer interactive framing and instant pricing at the time of shopping. Our customers can shop anytime, yet, if they have questions they can e-mail or call and receive personal service.
We have also found that when customers call, they are greatly relieved that we have two galleries and have been in business for several years. This gives them knowledge and confidence that we know what we are doing–that we aren’t just some company with a computer, but an established art and custom framing business.
