Northwest framers guild to hold education festival – Brief Article

TUKWILA, Wash. — The Evergreen Picture Framers Guild will hold its 10th-annual education festival on March 23 at the Embassy Suites Hotel here.

Brian Wolf of Wizard International and Grant Smith of the Canadian Picture Framers School will be the featured teachers for full-session classes. John Ferens of Ferensoft, Paul Knoop of The Framemakers, Ray Miles of Nielsen Bainbridge/ Nurre Caxton and Kiyoshi Toda of Accent on Framing will teach a variety of mini sessions.

The event will feature a full day of framing seminars, a buffet luncheon, a framing competition and a social hour. In honor of the 10th anniversary, the framing competition theme will be “Ten,” and the competition will be open to the public for viewing in the afternoon.
