Ford commissions art celebrating minority workers – Up Front – Brief Article
DETROIT — As part of its centennial celebration, Ford Motor Company commissioned artist Marcus Antonius Jansen to paint four paintings capturing the history of Ford workers, with an emphasis on minorities. Jansen presented the paintings to Ford at the Charles H. Wright Museum in June. The paintings were exhibited through July and are now part of Ford’s private collection.
