Fazzino completes promotional tours – Charles Fazzino – Brief Article
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.–Pop artist Charles Fazzino recently wrapped two promotional tours for art he created for the Winter Olympics in Park City, Utah, and for Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans.
In New Orleans, the artist appeared on a local television station, attended an unveiling of his work at Vintage 429 Gallery in the French Quarter, was conferred honorary citizenship by Mayor Mark Morial and did last-minute research for his new release “New Orleans and All That Jazz.”
From New Orleans, he headed to Park City, where he met with several local media outlets. He then joined Gold Medalist Bonnie Blair and Mayor Dana Williams for the official unveiling of his Olympic artwork at Coda Gallery on Main Street. He also visited the Colby School, where he spent a few hours creating an original 3-D painting with third and fourth grade students. The finished piece was on display at Coda and will be permanently installed in Park City later this year.
