Fall brought a spate of hirings and nominations at several major museums. James N. Wood of the Art Institute of Chicago announced his intention to make his 25th year at the institute his last. The Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland elected Kristen Bihary as its next president, while the Whitney of New York named Adam D. Weinberg director. Paul Johnson was recently hired as deputy director, development and external affairs of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Leann Standish was appointed director of institutional advancement at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
