Charles Fazzino creates official artwork for Grammy Awards – news
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — 3-D pop artist Charles Fazzino has been selected by the Recording Academy to create the official artwork for the 46th Annual Grammy Awards.
Fazzino’s painting will be used as the official image for the event and will appear on the cover of the award ceremony’s invitation and program book. The Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
“The Academy is proud to have an artist of Charles Fazzino’s caliber involved in the [Grammy Awards], and we’re excited by the inspiring and colorful artwork he has created for the show,” said Recording Academy president Neil Portnow. “His unique 3-D style is perfect for an event like the [Grammy Awards], as it truly captures the creative spirit of the music community.”
