Canadian Art Prints signs Patrick St. Germain – introducing – Brief Article
RICHMOND, British Columbia — Canadian Art Prints has recently added Patrick St. Germain to its family of artists. In his landscape images, St. Germain tries to convey a sense of solitude and tranquility. His techniques include applying impasto in the foreground and water colors in the background of his paintings.
Although his interest in art was born during a childhood visit to New York’s Museum of Modern Art, St. Germain’s artistic motivation comes from backpacking and climbing in Canada’s pristine national parks. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, where he continues to paint full time.
