ArtAffairs.com Launches B2B, B2C, ASP Solution
TORONTO–ArtAffairs.com and Picture Framing magazine are launching a new tool to provide brick-and-mortar galleries and frame shops with an online inventory of primary and secondary market art. The companies say this tool was brought to the market to increase sales for art publishers on the site and provide galleries and frame shops with an inventory of online product in excess of 70,000 images from more than 130 major suppliers. According to the company, the theory behind the program is that it will provide the tools for galleries and frame shops to communicate with the community they serve through the Web. ArtAffairs.com plans in the near future to further develop this ASP solution by adding online framing services in conjunction with each sale.
In other news, Art Affairs.com will be circulating a quarterly printed version of its Web site to further promote business activities and new product announcements as they take place online.
