* A controversial exhibition featuring painted live animals by celebrated graffiti artist Banksy shut down after the cows, sheep and pigs became hot and distressed and were taken back to their farm, a spokeswoman said. But that hasn’t stopped Banksy from considering taking the show on a national tour. Despite animal rights protestors claiming animal cruelty, one of whom chained herself to railings surrounding a decorated cow, the exhibit encountered no legal problems. Held in a disused garage in east London, “Turf War” included pigs painted in police colors, sheep painted in concentration camp stripes and a cow covered in images of Andy Warhol’s face. The animals were all show animals used to being on public view, and the paint was animal-friendly, the spokeswoman added.
